Newborn Photogs
Anybody use one that costs about $400 and comes to your home? I'm finding that many start at about $700 
I live in Queens. TIA

someone I know used this photographer, she's in Rego Park Queens, charges about $450. I'm also in Queens but decided I will travel to the photog's studio (I went with someone who happens to be in Suffolk b/c I love her work, yes I am a crazy person, I hope our LO sleeps the whole way!! lol). Keep in mind by choosing to go to their studio you will probably have more options as far as props/backgrounds etc. I know photog's will only travel with so much if they're coming to your house. Good luck!

Yeah I was also debating the idea of traveling to them to save some cash. I'm just nervous that it would be too soon to take the baby out. I'm a FTM and I have no idea what I am doing! lol
ETA: I just checked out the girl in Rego Park and her work looks great and she's not too pricey, thanks

you definitely save by going to their studio- I am using I hope you dance- Mindy and its so much more reasonable than having her come to me.
This is my 2nd though and I am having the baby in August... When are you due, I was due in November last time and I was afraid with the cold weather to take him out- so then I wanted someone to come to me!

Rachel Leah Photography! She's awesome and only charges $200 for newborn sessions. She does travel, but I know that there is an extra fee if she's traveling more than a certain distance from her studio (she's in Middle Island).

Awesome! I hope it works out. She's done many photos for me including a pregnancy session, general baby, holiday ones, and a family shoot too. She does really nice work!!

Yes! depending on where you live mine is 400 plus 50$ travel! This includes session and pics on CD min of 25 I believe and she brings in all outfits and supplies.

Check out Amanda Saldarelli
I'm not sure on pricing or travel but she is a great photographer. Her portfolio speaks for itself!
