My "First" due date
Well today is my first due date, the one the Dr's gave me from the U/S measurements and no sign of anything! I have always calculated by due date as ten days from now and since we were DEF trying hard, I am pretty sure I know it could not be now as today would have made me get pregnant while I was on day 3 of AF. . but I am still READY!!!!
do other people's dr's do this? it makes me a little crazy. Also gives me less chance to go into labor on my own which is the hard part.

They changed my cousins and pushed it back because baby was measuring small. She ended up having the baby closer to her date. I would go by yours.

They say due dates are give or take 2 weeks. My original due date was changed to 8 days sooner, even though I know that probably wasn't right. She was actually born 10 days before that. I don't think everyone has an exact gestation period of 40 weeks, everyone is slightly different.

My original due date was March 8. They changed it to Feb. 25 and I ended up having DD Feb. 5.

This happened to me with dd! I O late and I knew when I ovulated so I knew my due date was wrong. I think that's prob why I never went into labor and had to be induced. This time around I lied about when my lmp was so that it would coincide with the day I Oed. Lol

I did the same thing with this pregnancy since I knew when I o'ed.

Mine was close to this too....original due date was may 20, dr due date was may 25, I had the baby on may 21

I totally agree that it's dumb to call it a due date and to expect 40 weeks is so exact!
And the funny thing is my dr was totally willing to keep my due date but since the hospital has another one they can push her to have me go earlier. . just so silly at this point they don't realize that babies are born at such a range of times. And they trust early U/S measurements more than me showing them my ovulation date and the TWO days we BD"d. .
