All this Disney Talk.....
has gotten me excited but has me wondering when is the perfect age to take LO?
I live on the West Coast and DH&I were planning on taking DD to Disneyland in March 2014 who will be 22 months then. Is this not a good idea??

Disney is ALWAYS a good idea IMO.
She won't remember it at that age but that doesn't mean she won't have a blast. I say go for it!!!

Re: All this Disney Talk.....
It depends on your child and you. I believe the saying says something about never being too old or young for Disney.
You want to go then go. You know you'll be back when she's older.
I have a 4 year old and DS2 will be 2.5 when we go. I was thinking they were too young, but we go to Great Adventure and other theme parks. Just at the boardwalk last weekend on the rides and site seeing. They loved it so I know they'll love Disney.
Plus, you will love it!

All this Disney Talk.....
We may take a family trip to Cali next summer and DD will be 18 months then. We will go to Disneyland while we are there since we won't be there very often...and don't care! lol. We will go to Disney world at some point when she is a bit older. It is more for us to see her reaction than for her to remember.

Re: All this Disney Talk.....
I took my boys when they were 4 and 18 months. We all had a really great time and I say if you want to go, go for it. We plan on going again in the fall and this time I'm REALLY excited as Ryan will now be 4 and Johnny will be 7. I know Ryan had fun w certain things at 18 months but it's a totally diff experience with that age. He napped in his stroller a bunch cause he was wiped out, lol...he went on a few little rides but basically it was more for the 4 year old at that time. He DID however love the character dinner we went to...he was in awe of Mickey Mouse and I still look at that video and smile...too cute. I say do whatever you want!

Re: All this Disney Talk.....
I would look at the height requirements and see how many rides your DC can ride. Under 3 is free so that is a huge bonus, but for Disneyland it doesn't look like there is as much for a smaller child to do as in WDW in Florida. If your DC is tall they may luck out. Many rides have a 40 inch height minimum.
