About how long did the procedure take? Last time mine was an emergency so I'm thinking a planned might be longer

Re: BTDT planned c-section moms
I had to get there two hours before. The procedure itself wasn't too long. Maybe 30 min from beginning to end. Last time they found a lot of scar tissue so it took longer than my first one. Then I think I was in recovery for about an hour before I returned to my room. I heard that scheduled csection are a lot easier than emergency ones. Having mine in two weeks. Good luck!

It's pretty quick. Once you are prepped the baby is out within the first 5-10 minutes then another 25'ish minutes to "put you back together".

Re: BTDT planned c-section moms
Thanks ladies! My mom wants to come up and wait with my DD but I didn't want them waiting around. So if I'm scheduled for 9:30, I guess I'll have them come around 10:30 to meet our new baby
