potty training help...
I have been potty training my son where we stopped using diapers in the day, but he just keeps peeing in his pants and pooping as well. He is 27 months old now... and my 1st DS was potty trained at 18 months, so I don't understand why it is taking DS2 so long.

Re: potty training help...
He obviously isn't ready... I would wait a couple of more months and try again.. Some kids train faster... Can't compare siblings :( One may be faster at some things and the other not..

totally agree!! I just think your older DS trained SUPER early so you got spoiled every kid is different, so your younger DS just isn't ready yet. ESpecially with boys, it can take longer for them to be ready. I would keep trying in a low-key way (like just sit him on it before bath, or when you go) just to keep working on it, but not pressure him. DS is almost 32 months, and still not trained. He'll go pee and poop on the potty, but hes not great at all about letting us know he has to go. so if I just put him in underwear, he'll have accidents- so I've been sticking with diapers. I'm not worried... I want him to do it when hes totally ready.

Re: potty training help...
thank you I thought the 2nd child trained sooner since he would want to copy his brother. I'm experiencing the same thing as you because he uses the potty before a bath but he doesn't tell me when he has to go. and he brings me diapers after he dirties his diaper so he doesn't like a soiled diaper either. sometimes he wants his diaper changed every 20-30 minutes at a time.
