Venetian Shores Sprayground
I just called and they said its a residents only park. You can no longer pay a non-resident price to use the facilities. Does anyone know if this is absolutely true? And more importantly, does anyone know of another AWESOME sprayground where anyone can pay to use it? TIA!

Re: Venetian Shores Sprayground
yes it was like this last year too. They check your license when you walk in and you car has to have the pass to get in.
I think its Tanner Park that has a spray park that looked just as fun and you can pay a non resident fee to get in

Tanner and Bayshore Marina allow non residents. Venetian changed to residents only last year.

Re: Venetian Shores Sprayground
Residents means Town of Babylon just to clarify...not only Lindenhurst. As long as you have the town of Babylon sticker or are a town of Babylon resident you can get in. Tanner Park has a splash park and they let in non Town of Babylon residents, Tobay has a splash park and Geiger Park is opening up next month in Deer Park. It's suppose to be way larger then the one at Tanner.

Bayshore definitely does.
Do you know if there is street parking here to avoid the $10 non resident fee to park?

Tanner park allows non-residents and I think it's actually a little nicer than the one at Venetian, especially for the older kids (meaning older then toddler)

There is- but very little and they ticket.
Having said that- Bayshore is WORTH the money. We went into the Venetian one after work the other day and I thought it was horrible.
