Which Ergo carrier to get

I registered for the Performance Ergo which is different from the Original in that it's not supposed to be as hot but it's different material. They also have an organic one. Does anyone have feedback on which one to get?

Which Ergo carrier to get

saw your x-post in parenting and wanted to say as someone who is ALWAYS hot (like i couldn't do a moby wrap because i instantly was sweating pretty much), I don't have any heat issues with the regular old ergo. I don't think it is the fabric that makes you warm when wearing a kid, it is the baby itself (if that makes any sense). I don't think there would be a huge difference in the models.

As for organic... I am not sure the reasoning one would have for the organic material (just because I don't proactively seek out organic garments for my little ones), but if it is something you feel strongly about, then that one would work out well since it is just the regular design with organic fabric.

We registered for the Ergo performance carrier. It seemed like the best choice for our active lifestyle.

It feels like just yesterday I was having this same debate with myself and now my DD is almost 8 months! Anyway, I ended up with the organic one because the material was so much softer and I thought more comfortable than the original, which felt very rough in comparison. And I didn't see the point of the performance because I don't plan to wear my DD when it's that hot because regardless of the material, it would just be too uncomfortable.
