I'm free! I'm finally freeeeeee! (plus product rave)
I remember this woman I babysat for in the 1990's had handles on the baby bottle so the baby could learn to hold the bottle... well, it turns out Born Free used to make them! I found them new on overstock.com and they worked wonders for the girls! They held their bottles up as long as they reclined in their chairs, and I had free hands once in awhile  After 3 weeks, guess whaaaaaaatttttt?!?!?! They hold their own bottles! No more handles, nothing! I feel like I won the jackpot!  
And I'm proud of them, of course. 
But I'm free! I can start cleaning up earlier, I can talk on the phone etc etc etc!!!
so excited and nerdy I know...

I remember that day...it was amazing!! I think it was at 6 months....everything got easier! Best thing is you can shop while thy drink a bottle!!!! Enjoy!!!!

Congrats!!!!! It is so freeing.
I remember when just one of them could do it and I could finally stop propping etc. I just keeps getting easier I have found. mine are 20m adj. so I could also be putting my foot in my mouth lol

Mine just started holding thweir own and its the best ever!! I can pee or wash bottles or make my own lunch, or, or..possibilities are endless! lol

HAHA YAYYY!!! I know, the bottle thing is tough. I had no idea until I had twins how much time I would spend sitting holding a bottle. I felt like I could not go anywhere or get anything done. Not an issue with my single.
Thankfully I found the podee...best invention EVER!! I can get both babies fed at same time AND get out of the house without worrying about a meltdown.
Of course, I always hold them to feed if I can, but this really has been a great mommies helper, if anyone is interested, link below.

why cant i find them on overstock?? whats the exact name? i need to try these, my boys are 6 1/2 months and not holding the bottle yet.......(my daughter NEVER held her bottle...i cant do that again haha)

I am so jealous! My twins (8 months) still refuse to hold their own bottles! Do you think those handles would work on other bottles? I have Dr. Brown bottles but not sure I want to buy a whole set of new Born Free bottles just so the handles fit! How are you by the way Michelle? :)

C- we're doing great! There is crawling nd *yikes* standing to keep us busy. Try reclining them to hold the bottles. and the handles Def. helped, like training wheels!
