Wood Floors
Has anyone refinished their floors themselves? My DH is INSISTING on doing this himself, and even though he's super handy, I still think it will be easier to just get them done.

My DH and I are super handy but this is a job I refuse to do. Its a PIA. Not really a hard job but not worth my time and aggrevation.
You have to rent the sander etc. By the time you are done it is worth it to pay soemone.
I don't pay people to do much around my house. We gutted top to bottom and only paid for an electrician to move our box. We installed new floors but if I had to refinish them I would ahve paid for that too.
