Can you recommend your blender?
I don't need anything fancy, just a blender to make some smoothies.
Does anyone have the ninja blender?

Re: Can you recommend your blender?
I bought this Ninja Professional Blender & Single Serve at BBB and I love it! I make a smoothie using the single serve every day.

Re: Can you recommend your blender?
I bought this one from BBB and used a 20% off coupon. I wanted one that was glass. This is good. I make smoothies and also use it to make my shakeology shakes in the morning. It is a little loud though but blends really good and fast. Price is good too.

Re: Can you recommend your blender?
I use my kitchenaid to make smoothies. It works well. Before that I used the magic bullet and the KA is much better.

Re: Can you recommend your blender?
I just bought this today. They were out of the regular one so I bought the one with the extra single serve. Can't wait to use it!

I have a Vitamix - love it! It is a blender, but it comes with a lifetime warranty. The blender does not come apart - only the lid comes off. I believe it is all metal gears inside which is why it is so durable. We are able to make flour out of various grains so easily.
It is very powerful - very durable - comes with a great warranty and does what it is supposed to do very quickly and completely (no lumps or areas that don't blend - they give you a masher - stick thing to push things around if it needs it). It is very simple to use - on/off switch, hi/low switch and a dial for 1-10. It is pricey but you will probably never have to buy another blender again. We got ours at Costco in case we wanted to return with no problems (still have it though).

I have a Vita Mix as well and I LOOOOOVE it!! I use it everyday!! I make lots of things with it such as smoothies, soups, icecream/sorbet, Margaritas ;) ect. Its very powerful. Like the pp stated, it is pricey but a great investment. I know they were just demoing it at Costco over the weekend. Definitely check it out.
