Gift for christening
We are going to a baptism this summer and was wondering what type of gift we give. It's been years since I've been to one so I was wondering what the norm gift is for a guest (non-family).

i would probably give $50-$100 depending on how close I was to them

I would give money.. Just had my DD's christening and that's what 99% of the guests gave.

my son was just christened...from family i got 100 for my son from friends i got around 50 or gifts of some sort

Def money and i would say starting at 75 and up is what i would give. It depends how close you are to the person or if they are family
