Mood swings
This might seem silly but can progesterone cause mood swings? I feel utterly out of control w my emotions. Up & down, lazy, and distracted, tired and today I literally just screamed on the top of my lungs for no reason- either I am manic or I need off this crazy coaster! Thoughts?

I didn't start progesterone but have been on meds for almost 2 weeks and triggered last night. I feel all of the above. I nearly screamed at my SO for the way he was chewing his food. If this is how I am before progesterone I can't wait to see what happens when I'm on it.

Omg I have been on this coaster since I started clomid which messed more w my body as a whole- I did feel a little depressed and really angry as well- my trigger seemed to be ok, but I can't pin point if clomid could still be wreckin havoc- or if it is progesterone. I am going to call Dr. Z's office tmrw and see what they think. Glad not alone! Are you IUI or IVF?

I too felt way more irritable. I found myself snapping and crying lol

This just made me laugh. Today the dumbest comment set me off and I started to cry hysterically at my desk. I couldn't even understand why I was crying bc the comment really wasn't a huge deal. Then I got mad at myself for getting more upset when I know I should be relaxing and taking it easy and not worrying. No one at work knows what I'm going through so they definitely think I'm some sort or crazy person. I was completely fine during stimming and proud of myself for keeping it together. PIO is a whole other story. Glad to know I'm not the only one!

YEP!!! I too am on that crazy train!!!!! Fun times  I have to say, dh has been on his best behavior THANK GOD! I do have such a short fuse lately, can't think straight, trying not to snap at people. Thank heavens for the DVR bc commercials are killing me. I saw the new cheerios commercial yesterday...o...m...g!!! Little girl asks her mom if nana gave her cheerios when she was little. Mom says yes. Then the little girl says..."So it's just like we are eating breakfast with nana." (I assume nana had passed) BAWLING  ! I will not go near Lifetime movies right now either!!! Can't wait to hop off this emotional roller coaster.
I know, I know...it is all for a good cause, and it will all be worth it in the end. I'm gonna have to buy dh a really nice present when this is all over

I agree, any hormone you ingest in your body will cause you to have side effects. I was just shock the vaginal supp would do that.

Absolutely! I am always tired when on progesterone - I could literally sleep an entire day away and normally I don't sleep much at all.

Ha a present? you're nicer than I am. For everything that we have to physically and emotionally putmourselves through this is the least he could do is put up with my mood swings. One blood test and a semen sample? I'd take that anyway!!
