HPT's - your thoughts
AF was a couple days late, so on Tuesday night I took a HPT and got a BFP!!!! Total shock since we were not trying yet. Me being the neurotic person I am took another test Wednesday morning and again BFP! (both with FRER). I went yesterday morning for my beta, but I have to wait until today for the results. So I do what any normal woman does, took another test today and it came up positive again but the line was so light. This was a different test, CVS brand. I am probably just making myself nuts, but anyone else have this happen? I should have just stayed with FRER.
ETA: can't stop obsessing, looked at it again and it looks like the line is disappearing. What is going on?

"A line is a line" It could be the that FRER is more sensitive than the CVS brand. This time around we used the CVS brand and the line was definitely not at dark as it was with DD.
Congrats! Try and relax A line definitely would not disappear once you saw one on a test.

Re: HPT's - your thoughts
im a crazy person and took a few tests too - and i did find sometimes the lines were lighter as the days went on. dd is happy and healthy and i had no complications at all with the pregnancy so i wouldnt stress over it could just be that you were more/less hydrated taking one test than another good luck

You shouldn't compare the line darkness using different brands. I got a super dark line on a FRER once and on an internet cheapie the line was barely there. If you were comparing the same test brand and it was getting lighter from morning to morning then I'd be concerned. Good luck

I stopped testing after I got digital confirmation. All tests and dyes are different, so I couldn't let myself obsess....my advice is to stop testing because you'll drive yourself crazy.

Thanks everyone! I guess I should have known better than to compare different brands.

HPT's - your thoughts
I took 3 different tests..all positive. First one had a faint line and I couldn't really tell, so i took a digital one which clearly said pregnant. i took one more just to be sure and it came back positive again with a faint line. Went to the ob last week and it was confirmed! due date 3/29/14!

Congratulations!!! I think it's just one brand being more sensitive than the other!
