Backpack - Lands end or LL Bean?
So after having to replace DS's back pack last year FOUR times (from the Disney Store - Cars theme) I'm going to get him a more solid backpack this year and just put on iron on decals (he likes sports theme anyway and that's hard to find).
Which is sturdier/better and feel free to recc a particular backpack! Thanks so much in advance.
Also - we could use a new lunch bag too ours was from Lands End and I really liked it for 3 yrs...
ETA: DS is turning 6 and going into 1st grade...

I think Lands End can do a sports theme embroidery, but we went with LLBean for their warranty.

Backpack - Lands end or LL Bean?
We did an LL Bean for DD last year the junior original which was a perfect size for K and now for 1st grade. The reflective strip started peeling some and I have ADD so I called them and they are replacing it for free. LL Bean has a great warranty although their patterns are not as cute as Lands End. I believe Lands End has a similar warranty but I'm not 100% sure. You can't go wrong with either one. Both also sell smaller size bookbags which are great for little ones. Fit their shoulders better and easier on their backs.

LL Bean is better quality. I feel Lands End has gone down in quality since merging with Sears.

Lands End
They have a lifetime warrrenty, you can take them back to Sears also, and exchange them towards a new backpack/lunchbox. We've been doing this for DS since 1st grade and we've never had any issue!

I bought a Land's End backpack mid year last year because my son's original backpack fell apart. It held up very well and he is using it again this year. He doesn't want another one.

We went with LL Bean for DS. Both Lands End and LL Bean have great warranties, so I don't think you can go wrong with either of them.

I've been loyal to Lands End. They do last forever. The only reason I get them a new one every few years is because they want change. The backpacks are still perfect.
