DS is starting Pre-K in september. He'll be 4. I got the medical paperwork but nothing about supplies. He's going 5 days a week, 8-4pm and the bus is picking him up. that's his favorite part. Only supplies I had to send in was a marble notebook. Nothing else. Do you know who his teacher is yet?
not yet!

Re: whose child is going to Nursery/Pre-K in the Fall?
DS will be attending nursery in September - 3 full days a week.
I'm super nervous on how he will adjust/handle this since he has never been alone with anyone besides us, my mom, MIL and my sister.
I already received a very lengthly list of supplies that I have to provide at the parent/teacher meeting two nights before school starts.

My DS is 4.5 and his first day is TOMORROW!! I'm freaking out. This is his first ever school experience. No bus, I'll be dropping him off and picking him up. It's 5days/week from 8:30-11:45. We don't have to bring in any supplies, but we did have to pay a $275 supply fee on top of the initial registration fee and then our monthly tuition.
wow..starts early! I am sure he will be fine!!!
I'm in the South, so we generally start earlier. But this school is trying a new schedule where we'll have a week off in October, 3 weeks off at Xmas, a week in Feb, and and a week at Easter. So it's kinda a mix between the public school calendar & the year round calendar.
And my DS did great today. No tears at drop off & all smiles at pick up!!

whose child is going to Nursery/Pre-K in the Fall?
DS is attending Pre-K this fall. I can not believe how fast time went. I felt like I brought him home yesterday. He will be going everyday during the pm slot 11-2pm. So nervous that he is going to cry (I'm hoping I don't cry).

I said that last night, I wonder who will cry more? Pretty sure it will be me!
