Middle country school district
I found a house in selden that is perfect and we absolutely love it. It is middle country school district and i was just wondering how the school district is. Does anyone have some information? Thanks

You should probably post on the home board.
I grew up there and had a great experience. My brother and his wife live and teach in the district and like it-they have one child in grade school.

Average district. I hear the drug problems are getting worse in the High Schools, but I guess that's a common problem on LI. Just be aware that if your child goes to New Lane (elementary), they are open style classrooms, no doors or walls. I like that they have a separate building for pre-k and K, and that everyone is accepted into Pre-K, no lotteries, etc.
