what do all the books say about early
rising? my 6 mth old gets up at 5:00 he goes down at @7 is that too late? last nap ends around 3
this is my 2nd and I forget everything!

Are you asking if 7 is too late? Not unless you want your baby waking up even earlier than 5am!

grace is 6 months and passes out between 630/7 for the most part. she is up at 6.
I think 11-12 hours at night is normal for this age, another 2-4 in naps.

My DS was exactly like yours. He would pass out by seven and was up every morning at 5. I know the books and experts say that going to bed earlier helps them sleep longer but not in my case. He was genuinely tired at that point at night tho, so I suffered through it for a few months until he readjusted his bedtime around 8 months. Now at almost 10 months he goes down between 745 and 815 and sleeps till 6, or 6:30 if I'm lucky. You can try moving bedtime back 15 minutes over the course of a month if you want to attempt a slightly later bedtime. Good luck! I've been there, I know how it sucks.
