Behr's furniture

Has anyone ordered from them? We're doing work on our house so we delayed ordering the nursery furniture, DS is 6 weeks old now and we have to order the crib as soon as possible since I'd like to transition him from the bassinet at 3-4 months if possible. I read some reviews online about Behrs having issues w/ delivery times being much longer than the timeframe the store initially gives you. I was considering a Young America Stanley furniture set, they told me delivery would be 8-10 weeks from now, curious if anyone has ordered from them and if you were happy w/ delivery and quality of furniture. The set I like is made in the USA and Behrs is the ONLY retailer that carries them in the area, so I kind of feel like I have no choice but to go with them! Any input is appreciated, thanks!!

I had issues with delivery time, but I really can't blame Behr. They weren't the ones manufacturing the crib. They just pass on the info they get from the manufacturer.

My crib was 3 months late. It got delivered way after the baby was born (I wanted to put my DS in the crib from the start).

Behr sent me a loaner crib, delivered it for free and also ended up delivering the crib I ordered for free (I was suppose to pick it up).

I will order from Behr again just because of their customer service. I will not select another Munire product though.

thanks to both of you for replying! Do you mind if I ask which manufacturer you went with for the crib? Curious if Stanley Furniture (Young America) is usually behind w/ production since the lead time of 8-10 weeks already scares me lol

My crib manufacturer was Munire.

We ordered from them for my daughters bedroom, they told us 8-10 weeks.. It was Munire. A week and a half later they called to say it was in, I wasnt ready yet so they stored it for us. Fast forward 8 months Sandy destroyed our home and I had to reorder the same furniture. We went in right after sandy (first week in november) to order a crib for my inlaws and it came within a week. We went back once our house was almost finished to reorder the rest of the set. I ordered it April 29.. they told me the manufacturer was replacing the drawer tracks so it wouldnt be in til end of June... It didnt come in til August. I blame Munire, not behrs. Furniture companies are the worst though, WE have had issues almost every time we ordered furniture anywhere.

We just ordered our 3rd Munire set from Behr's. 2 sets were ready early, and one was on time.

I had a good experience with Behrs. We bought a Creations crib and dresser. I want to say it came in a little sooner than expected (I'm a little fuzzy since it was 3 years ago), but I know it definitely wasn't later than they said. Maybe the delivery time has to do with the manufacturer?

They delivered it and put it together. After the delivery guys left, I noticed a scratch on the front rail. I thought they would give me a hard time since I signed for it. But they came back within a few days with a brand new front rail. No problem whatsoever.

We have a Stanley Young America set that we order from Behr's and we had no problems at all. I can't remember exactly whether they said it would be between 8-10 or 8-12 weeks to deliver, but our furniture was delivered on time. I think it was delivered in 9 weeks and we love the quality of the furniture! I would definitely recommend it.

got a pali set from them. came in much sooner than they had originally said, but they held it until I was ready. no problems with delivery or anything.

We ordered a Romina set from Behr's and had nothing but a great experience. Everything was delivered as promised.

I didnt end up ordering with them but I went there to look. I had a very negative experience with them and would not recommend anyone to them just based on my experience. Obvs other people had better experiences than me, but I found them to be grossly overpriced and rude to my dh and I.
As well as telling me they had an 8 week back order on the set I was looking at but went to another store and they had us the set in 2-3 weeks NO back order at all and were ridiculously cheaper with no delivery fee.
But they are not in LI.

We ordered a Pali set from Behr's that I LOVE. The salesman was great. The set was a week late but it wasn't a big deal to me since we ordered very early - as soon as we found out the baby's gender. Will most likely go there again for ds #2 new furniture once we move.

We just got our second set of furniture delivered from them yesterday. We had no problems at all, in-store, delivery or anything.

I also got Pali- 2 cribs, a dresser and a changing table/dresser. I couldn't be happier. They said 6-8 weeks and it came in at 7 weeks. They really worked with me because I had to fit 2 cribs in a room where a window was an issue, etc. They gave me so many options and helped me fit it in, even though I was picky (I wanted not made in China and I wanted a white crib)
I LOVE Romina and would highly recommend Behrs for them. Since we needed 2 cribs, I couldn't afford Romina but their stuff is so gorgeous.
