Freezing breast milk
What do you guys use to store frozen breast milk?
I just figured we would use the plastic bottles and put a storage cover on it. DH said he thought we were supposed to freeze it in a ziplock bag.

Freezing breast milk
I use the lansinoh milk storage bags. Freezing milk in bottles took up way too much space - plus I didn't have enough bottles.

Re: Freezing breast milk
I freeze in the storage bags also...I then put them in a gift bag with the oldest on the bottom and cut a hole in the bottom to take them out...I got that idea from someone on here and it really works.

Freezing breast milk
I had a giant bag of 2.5 oz medella bottles that the hospital gave me. I used those 1st, then moved up to medella bags which hold up to 5 oz.

Freezing breast milk
I use Target Breastmilk storage bags. I like them better than the other brands I tried.

Re: Freezing breast milk
I used the Medela 2-oz storage bottles, and also the Lansinoh plastic storage bags.

Re: Freezing breast milk
I haven't frozen breast milk and I've actually had to throw some out! I know, terrible. But I have the storage bags specific for breast milk.

Re: Freezing breast milk
Don't use ziploc, use breast milk storage bags. I prefer target or lansinoh
