Toe nail falling off
DD stubbed her big toe and it bled a bit. She didn't seem to upset, but now I'm looking at it, and the entire nail is raised off the nail bed, and it looks like its about to fall off. It looks so painful. It hurts to even look at it, and I'm normally fine with blood and gross things. What do I do? How should I treat it?

Re: Toe nail falling off
This isnt from a parenting view but from a btdt view. I've lost several nails like this after some type of "trauma". As long as nothing looks infected, and your DD doesnt seem to be bothered by it leave it alone. There will be a very soft nail underneath that will eventually harden.

Re: Toe nail falling off
Same thing happened to my dd and it was so painful to look at... We eventually cut it down a little and then pulled it off but only when it was hanging by a thread...and her toe nail grew back
