Need help on potty training my 2 year old

Can anyone give me advice on How to Potty train my two year old?

is he/she showing any signs that hes ready? like asking to go on the potty, wanting to watch you go, staying dryer for longer, asking you to change him as soon as he goes?
DS will be 3 next month. For me, I started out slow. Just sitting him on there a couple times a day- I found right after he woke up in the morning or from nap was good. Or right before I put him into the bath at night was a good time, too- while the water was running... hearing it running made him go LOL then I just made a HUGE deal out of it and he got al proud of himself.
Then after that to just kind of get him used to the whole process... I spent a few days at home with him just in underwear, or nothing on the bottom- to go more "hardcore" with it. He's doing pretty good with it now- still accidents every once in awhile... and I still do diapers for nap and at night, mostly because I'm not ready to be getting up in the middle of the night to take him to the bathroom LOL
