Charlie horse
I've been getting a lot of Charlie horses lately, like 3-4 a week. Not only are they painful but sometimes my muscle still hurts for a day or two after. I've always gotten at least one a year and each time I was pregnant I would get them a TAD more frequently but this is insane. Could this be a symptom of something else?

Re: Charlie horse
Low potassium, maybe? When I would get them when I was pregnant I remember my doctor telling me to eat a banana ad it would help a bit.

They are SO PAINFUL and when i'd get them, the residual pain would definitely last for a day or two after.
When you feel one starting, stand on your tippy toe immediately, that normally stops it for me. Otherwise i do think it's low potassium that bring them on.

Re: Charlie horse
Try taking a potassium supplement or adding more bananas and OJ to your diet.
Also- the second I feel one coming on I straighten my leg out quickly and flex my toes. That usually stops it in its tracks
