I heard that if you have CT surgery you will never be able to succesfully pick your Oved ever again. Think about THAT.

Re: XPOST - Carpal Tunnel Surgery?
I had carpal tunnel in both wrists due to preeclampsia issues while pregnant. Believe it or not, I went to a chiropractor and the pain was gone after 2 months or so. It may be worth looking into to avoid surgery

Eek.. you're back! I assume because you're TTC? I swear this CT crap is from all of those DT/PB days!!! I blame B-man!

TTC soon, but not yet.
Seriously, I think the CT IS from those days. I wear the braces, but some days its just awful!

Re: XPOST - Carpal Tunnel Surgery?
i had the surgery on one wrist a year after my son was born. The pain had never gone away so I made the decision.
The recovery wasn't bad honestly. Went home the same day (in & out really, not even 4 hours). Had to keep it bandaged up for awhile and no picking up my son with that hand for a short bit. Other than that - i have no problems anymore & the other hand stopped hurting - so I didn't require surgery on that one. The surgeon said that is NOT uncommon...it happens all the time.
Good luck to you!

XPOST - Carpal Tunnel Surgery?
I had surgery on my right wrist in 2008. Recovery wasn't bad, no real pain. Showering was a pain and since I'm right handed I had to do a lot of things left handed. If you are in pain, do it. I was out of work for about 2 weeks. No problems with either wrist since then.
