For those with same sex twins
How did you name them? Do you say one name is baby A and the next is baby B? I know this is a weird question but I am just wondering since we are not completely set on names yet. Plus how did you know who was born first? Sorry if these questions are too out there. Not even sure I am explaining myself correctly. I just think of weird things lately as my DH says lol

Re: For those with same sex twins
I didn't know my genders before birth. I knew if I had one girls the name was Alice. I knew if I had 2 girls their names were Alice and lily. I needed to meet them before I chose. Happened about 12 hours after vag birth when they were in the nicu.

Re: For those with same sex twins
We just had names picked out and waited to see each baby before giving them a name. We were team green and ended up having two boys.

For those with same sex twins
We did not name out kid in utero because we did not know the sexes but Baby A got the name earlier in the alphabet and Baby B got the name later in the alphabet - we waited till they were both born to name them because we had different name for girl/girl, boy/boy, and boy/girl

Re: For those with same sex twins
We have girl/girl twins. I had names picked out and named A one name and B the other. In the Operating Room we were confused with who came out first and when they brought B to us, we thought she was A and named her that name. Later on when the babies were gone and the Dr was sewing me up, DH and I were discussing babies/names, etc. and the Dr interrupted us and told us we named them backwards. At that point we had met Baby B and named her and I didn't want to change her name. To sum it up...lol yes we had two names and I picked one for each, but then life happened and they got switched. I am very happy with their names for them now though.

Re: For those with same sex twins
we had g/g twins and named them in utero. They had different personalities that early and one was more like my husband.
one baby has a name starting with El like my name (eleanor) and other baby has a name starting with De like my husband (deo)
turns out we named them perfectly, baby with El looks like me and baby with De name looks like my husband!
i had a c-section and when the nurse brought them over i didnt know which one was A or B. Not until later when i saw their bracelets.

Re: For those with same sex twins
For my sons, one's first name was my father in law's name and the other one was going to have my fathers name as his middle name. So we said first born would be after my dad since it was his middle name and second born would have father in law's name.
I always liked my father in law's name as a name, so we really used the name because we liked it, and it was a bonus it was my father in law's name.
We assumed A would be born first, since we was lower, but didn't decide until they were born since we figured it may switch. Also - when my boys were born there was a 3lb difference between them and baby A had a heart issue so we knew which was a and b without knowing who they were. their names.
