Anyone have this or know much about it? Is it any good, worth it etc?
DS1 asked for it last year but we didnt get it. Well he still wants it. He is going to be 6 just before Christmas and plays hte Wii and 3DS. Loves the Mario games so that is why we were thinking of this for hte holiday, but DH and I know so little about it we arent sure if its any good.

We have the Wii and the Wii U. If someone doesn't have a Wii, the Wii U is definitely worth it. If you already have a Wii, you have to think about it more. The good thing is that all of the Wii games and controllers work with the Wii U, so that saves a lot of money. The game pad is nice, and you can play some of the Wii U games just on the pad, and not on the TV. Some of the games are designed for the parent to have the pad, and assist younger players with games.
If you really like Nintendo games (which we do), it's worth getting the Wii U to play the latest Mario games.
I'm glad we got it, and for me it was worth it.

Thanks! He loves the mario games, its pretty much all he wants to play. So I am 99% sure we are going to get it for him.

Walmart has a decent deal on a bundle. $329 and comes with Mario game, Luigi game, an extra game, and an extra remote. Online deal only

target has it on sale this week, for $299 with the mario and luigi games and it comes with a $25 target gift card.
We got the disney infinity on sale at walmart for the wii u so I guess I have to get it now! lol
Thanks! I know DS will be so happy with it, and it should keep him happy until he is old enough for a playstation or xbox type unit!

Is this a black friday deal or one that started today? If I use my Target card, I can save an additional $15 also, so that is pretty good.
I took back my TRU one today, since they gave me a really hard time about the 10% reward dollars I was to earn by purchasing it, and everything regarding the entire transaction was a HUGE hassle. Will no longer shop there! (different post though LOL).

The Target deal is a pre Thanksgiving I think it's 4 days only starting yesterday (sun) in store only. The Levittiwn target was out of them today. I'm going to call around tomorrow morning and see what I can find.

I ordered it from walmart. It was $329 free shipping, for the one with the super mario/Luigi games, plus you can pick a game from 12 listed (we got Phineas and Ferb) and an extra controller.
Plus I ordered through ebates which I think is an additional 4%
