Christmas Eve dinner
My bf is having Xmas eve at his house with his family, me and my DDs. This is our 1st holiday where he is hosting and we are all together. He is not a cook but he said he will make a ham and stuffed artichokes. I don't have a lot of time to prep at home but I want to get there early to help him. I do enjoy cooking! What are we missing? A green veggie side dish?
His family doesn't go all out with food or apps. We will have chips, dip, cheese and crackers, mixed nuts.
Spiral ham Scalloped Potato casserole Corn casserole Ziti Some kind of green salad
Asking others to bring dessert I will make fruit platter Ice cream for kids

Re: Christmas Eve dinner
I'd throw another veggie in there. Asparagus is my favorite so I'd probably go with that.
And maybe a bread of some type..garlic bread or dinner rolls would be good.
