When did you start putting LO in the tub with no seat or anything? Just in the actual tub?

Thanks!

oh wow! DS is 10 months and still uses his little tub. He started standing in it and reach out now. I was holding off cause we all shower in that bathroom and I am dreading having to clean the tub everyday! But I think its time!

DD was in the infant tub for a little over a year. The switch was easy until recently when she started crawling and "swimming" all over. I just wipe it down with method tile spray and rinse it quickly so it's not too bad.

Shortly after a year old. He loves being in the tub but it's such a pain to wash his hair now.

Re: bath!

After a year. DS1 didn't start sitting on his own sturdy till 7.5 months. He was in a lounge chair kinda seat for a while then those bath seats till he was on his own.

We moved him late too - he was 15 months as well before he really had no room left in the baby tub.

DD will soon be 14-months and I have her in an inflatable tub inside the big tub. I like how it keeps her contained and she has a blast. I have no plans to graduate her to the big tub any time soon.

DS is 11 months old, 90th percentile height and we still have him in the infant bath. I don't know how we'll wash his hair once we move him into the regular tub. I once got soap in his eye and felt AWFUL and it was all red and clearly hurt. So he's staying in the infant tub as long as possible!

Re: bath!

DD is 18 months and I still have her in a bath ring in the big tub! She has gotten too long for it, and it is getting hard to get her legs through it, but I am so nervous about letting her sit freely in the bath! She doesn't like having her hair washed (the water part), and I think she will be thrashing all over if I let her out of there! I keep telling DH that we need to try a bath without the ring.

LOL my DS is 2 1/2 years old and I still put a plastic tub inside of the big tub! It's so much easier and we all use that same shower so I don't have to worry about scrubbing it down all the time.
