Dr kristal patients
Dd has her first appt tomorrow - I'm just trying to figure out what time ill get to work
Is he punctual/how long do you have to wait? And how long is he typically with you (for a routine appt just to check a birthmark)

Which office? The one in Stony Brook I have had to wait a long time. Each time was in the afternoon, though, so maybe you'll have a better experience in the morning. I went to his Nassau office once and I didn't have to wait at all. Once he starts the exam, it doesn't take too long.

I've been to Nhp and hopefully mornings are better than afternoons but it's worth it and he is so pleasant..good luck!

We went to the stonybrook office for an afternoon apt and had a 45 minute wait prior to being seen by dr. kristal.

thanks all it wasnt that bad...i waited about 20 minuties (once my paperwork was complete)
he and his office staff were really nice and DD behaved so it was perfect!

always go to NHP, wait is usually 20 mins but I usually go mid day so not sure if that makes a difference.

Generally long waits--we've waited up to an hour. I also don't like how you get put in an exam room but still have to wait another 15 minutes--I'd rather be out in the waiting room with magazines and the TV, you know?
But Dr. Kristal is very nice. Be prepared with any specific questions though--he's a fast talker and sometimes before you know it, he's written the prescription and he's out!

I totally agree with this. We were just there yesterday and I left feeling like I didn't get to ask everything I wanted to. We were in the NHP office and only waited about 20 minutes (maybe because it was a weekday appt during the middle of the day)

We go to Stony Brook office in mornings. I think we've waited no more than 20 mins. Staff is great as is Dr. Kristal.

I don't think we ever waited more than 20 minutes for him when we went to him, and only about 5 minutes waiting in the room.
he really is good, he'll answer any questions you have, but like another person said, he talks fast, but I never felt rushed.
I did, however, find the logistics of the NHP office a bit odd. The building and parking lot were confusing the first time, we ended up on the wrong side of the building and had quite the hike. I never saw him in Stony Brook so can't comment on that.
