Need some help - I have leftover pasta in a sauce and......
might not feed the whole family---how can I stretch it?
All I could think of is adding a salad. But sometimes DH might be more hungry.

Garlic bread...side of sauteed spinach or broccoli rabe?

Make the pasta a side dish to chicken cutlets, add a salad. Or add veggies and extra pasta to the leftovers, serve with garlic bread.

Add in cooked shrimp and some veggies. Then you have a healthy, hearty meal.

I was going to suggest this as well.

I would add some roasted veggies to it, or if you have any meat in the house, or chicken, shrimp, etc. Even a can of chick peas or white beans to add protein.
Also, if you have ground meat or chicken, or sausage/turkey sausage, you can make kind of a play on baked ziti... add the pasta and sauce in layers to a baking dish and put meat and mozzarella cheese in between each layer, and then bake it. It will bulk it up a bit and make it seem more hearty and satisfying.
I agree that you can get a loaf of nice crusty bread and make garlic bread, or just serve bread and butter with the pasta and salad.
Or, if you want to be really simple, just boil more pasta and add a jar of sauce (or even a can of diced tomatoes simmered with some minced garlic and herbs) to the existing pasta and sauce. That way, you use what you have, but add more to increase the portion sizes.
