IUI cycle this month with ?
so I'm being monitored this month, we're doing a IUI, hopefully if all goes well.
I had a sono yesterday and had two follicles one was 18.5 and there was 13.5.
Today, one is 18 and other is 17. They're both on the left, nothing on the right. I was on 50mg of Clomid it that helps.
What does this mean?
Whats the magic number?
What should be a "normal" number of follies?

I think two follicles on clomid is good. I only produced 1 follicle on clomid (higher dose than you are on). Usually they will trigger you when both of the follicles are over 20mm.

2 on clomid is great. You don't want a ton on clomid because it's too high of a chance to have multiples.

Thats great progress so quickly! On 50mg, I only had one good sized
Follicle and triggered when it was above 20 I think. On 100mg, we triggered with two follicles.
When do you see dr next?

I only got 1 on 100mg this cycle and he's switching me off it next cycle if I don't get pregnant. So I think 2 is great for 50mg.

Sounds good! You're probably going back tomorrow for another sono, right? They'll see if the follies are 20 or higher and check your blood to see if you're ovulating. If they're bigger than 20 and you're ovulating, you come in the next day for the IUI. If your blood doesn't show a surge, you'll take a trigger shot to create a surge, that will force ovulation, and you'll have the IUI the following day.
Either way, you'll probably have your IUI in a few days! Good luck!

2 follies is good for IUI...dont want many more then that because then risk of multiples goes up

I always got two from 50mg, which was a must for me bc I only have one tube.
Two is considered perfect. My last RE found 18+ acceptable for trigger, while my new considers 20+ acceptable. I am thinking you will trigger either tomorrow or the next day!

ok today… #1 is 23 and #2 is 17. I was told to take the ovadril tonight, late and iui schedule for Thursday!!! So excited.
