LSW for T-Ball
Does anyone have experience with this? My son is 4 and I'm looking to put him in T-Ball this spring. my neighbor told me about LSW (Levittow Seaford Wantagh).

Re: LSW for T-Ball
DH just signed DS up through the Copiague Youth League.
One of our neighbor's heads it up.
They are trying to recruit DH to coach right now.
I'm not sure of the specifics but I think you have to be through the district.
They will be playing in Tanner Park I think once or maybe twice a week starting in April.
It cost $80 which covers everything.
I'm just putting this out there in case anyone from my area is interested as well. I don't think they got many kids because I'm not sure how well advertised they are.

This actually might be the case. DH mentioned something about this.

Re: LSW for T-Ball
My ds did LSW t-ball last year, and really enjoyed it. I thought it was a well-run program, and fun for the age group. It's parent coached, so the experience you have may depend in the coach you get. It's more focused on introducing them to the basics if the game than teaching skills. They play 2 games a week, one on a weekday (tues, wed, or thurs) evening and one on sat. Morning. They have uniforms, a parade to kick off the season, and an end of season party with bouncers, slides, etc.
I put DS in n. bellmore/n, merrick little league this spring, but only so he can meet some kids he will be in kindergarten with. Otherwise, I would have def done LSW again.
