birthing ball
What are you supposed to do on it???roll around, bounce, just sit there....anyone have any idea...

I bought one and never had a chance to use it although it would have been very helpful with my back labor! You can sit and bounce and it is supposed to relieve the pressure "down there". I am going to use it next time!!!

It is really nothing more than a regular exercise ball. I used it more to sit on to relax my back. It also was darn handy after Jack was born since that was the key to calming him down. Sit on the exercise ball and bounce!

There are different positions that you can use with it to make labor a little easier. If you take a childbirth class, they should show you different labor positions. I like the birthing ball!

i have a yoga ball..i am guessing it is the same thing...really just a huge blue ball..I heard that it can make you dilate...who knows if it is true or not...

I had a stability ball (got it from Marshall's) and used it at home when I was in labor before going to the hospital. I also used it a few times towards the end of my pg when my back was hurting.
It's supposed to help relieve the pressure and open pelvis. You can look online for different exercises.
