Re: Potty Training .............boy
We potty trained DS at 25 months old, he was showing no signs of readiness and it still worked like a charm. We did the 3day method and followed it to a tee(I even reread it on day 2 to make sure I was doing it correctly). He was nap/night trained by day 1 and fully trained by day 3. Good luck!

Potty Training .............boy
We slowly intoduced ds to the potty at 18 months. Now at 24 m he sis going a few times a day on the potty. We still aren't pushing because he is young and is doing so well on his own. This spring i will push a bit more.

Re: Potty Training .............boy
My DS is almost 32 months and we are nowhere near. We have a seat to go on the regular potty and he's sat on it a few times, but he's just not into it. I'm not going to push it until he turns three.

Re: Potty Training .............boy
26 months.
3 day method (more or less). Did it during hurricane because I wasn't working or going anywhere.
Poop took 3 more months (no fun with undies) He still gets a diaper for naps & Overnight (3.5) He's never been dry overnight. That being said, he hasn't had an accident during the day.

Re: Potty Training .............boy
Started showing him and telling him about it at about 1 1/2. He wanted nothing to do with it till about 2 1/2 and then at 2 3/4 he was diaper free during the day. Just this week 5 weeks shy of his 4th Birthday he just started to poop on the potty. He would ask for a diaper up till this week.

Potty Training .............boy
We brought the potty in around 1.5 and just had him sit on it while the bathtub filled up every night. We would read books and just made it a fun experience. At 25 months we used the 3 day method. Worked great! 3 day method is in a book. Basic idea is to set a timer for every 15 min. Then we would sing and march to the potty and make it fun every time it went off. If there was a pee or poo we'd give an m&m. They say to put them in undies....not pull ups as those are basically diapers. They sell undies with padding

Re: Potty Training .............boy
Started with my DS about 2 weeks before his 3rd birthday. Took 1 day, no accidents. We put him in undies that morning and that was it. Prior to the day we put him in undies we had been reading 2 books about potty-training. I had also been putting him in undies about 1 hour per day in the week leading up to it. He started to pee in the undies once during this trial period so he understood what it meant when I said "no pee pee in the undies." It was super easy and I think it was bc we waited until he was almost 3. He night-trained himself. He had been waking up dry for months, that's how we knew he was ready.

Re: Potty Training .............boy
DS #1 a little after 3 and ds #2 was almost 4. They were ready when they did it and we had 0 to no accidents. We had tried earlier with no success.

Potty Training .............boy
DS 1 was 3y4m. He had started asking to be changed whenever his pull up was wet and was waking up dry in the morning so I knew he was more than ready.
He had been trying the potty at daycare since he was 2 1/2.
He had accidents the first day and got the hang of it the second day. Number 2 took a bit longer.
ETA - My tip is follow their cues and wait until they are ready. Otherwise it's frustrating for both you and them.

Re: Potty Training .............boy
DS was potty trained at 2 1/2. We followed the 3 day method exactly. It worked perfectly.
