Re: I heard you feel the 2nd baby sooner...

Ds#1 18 weeks

DS#2 13 weeks

DS#3 16 weeks

I was suprised wheh I felt my second so early and I remember the one nurse practioner telling me it was too early to feel anything. I think I was 15 weeks wheh she she said that and I could already feel and see a little part of my belly jump from a kick.

This pregnancy I was suprised I felt the baby later then second pregnancy. This baby I feel but is very mellow. I will feel a few kicks through out the day even at 21 weeks. My second was always moving at this point.

I started seeing little movement outside of belly around 19 weeks with this pregnancy. It's not all the time though.

I felt DD1 around 21 or 22 weeks and only felt DD2 a week or so earlier than that. There was one night around 14 weeks when I thought I felt movements and even put DH's hand on my belly and he felt it too! I commented on how early it was and he said "Kate, I think that's a future fart you're feeling, not our future baby". Chat Icon I didn't feel her again for at least a month so as much as I hate to admit it he may have been right. Chat Icon

I'm almost 16w and I swear I have felt the baby already! I didn't feel anything with DS #1 until around 21-22w but I have also read/heard that a lot of people feel the second one a lot earlier. At least I think that's what it is! Could also be gas. Chat Icon

With my first, I felt flutters for the first time at 17w, second was 13/14, and third was 11/12.
