My face is SO dry!
Help! Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm sure it is partly to do with the weather and also partly to me overusing the retinol serum I recently purchased (which I stopped using a couple days ago).
Before bed I use Clairsonic with Aveeno moisturizing face wash and then use a heavier night cream. My reg mositurizer during the day with eye cream.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong or what I should do to fix it? My face is starting to hurt it's so dry!

drink lots of water. that is also part why.
I just had a facial. told the same. I use lotions as well. not enough.

You may want to cut back on the clarisonic use because that can dry your face out further. drink a TON of water as well.

I agree with water and you can try Omega 3. I always get very dry skin on winter and I started taking Omega 3 and it helped a lot.

This. You are over doing it with all of the products you are adding and taking away and not letting your skin just be. I would cut back on the clairsonic to 1-2 times a week. Drink water, use a humidifier in your house, moisturize in the morning and at night. Also protect your face with a scarf or balaclava when going outside.

Definitely cut way back on the retinol- that is a KILLER on dry skin.
And cut back on the Clairsonic as well- it can be very irritating.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I am going to cut back on the Clairsonic and start drinking more water. I already stopped the retinol a few days ago. Hope this helps...fingers crossed!
