Re: overwhelmed - so many questions (long)
I'm sorry you are gluing through this! We can all relate. Personally it sounds like the doctor you are seeing is quite in depth and you are covering all bases. The meds are all very scary but this could be the answer for you! GL!

overwhelmed - so many questions (long)
I am sorry. Is it Kofinas? I had two chemicals. I did intralipids and Lovenox. It was intimidating but in the end worth it. My DD is 9months. FM me if you need anything. Sometimes it takes a step back to see if your head is ready for it.

Re: overwhelmed - so many questions (long)
I think if you are going to make a choice you need to accept the consequences. If you are going to go with this doctor you need to accept the protocol for what it is, the side effects, etc.... But know you are doing all you can.
If you decide to not use this doctor, there's the consequences of potentially experiencing another loss and wondering if it could have been prevented.
The findings from that bloodwork are real- the question is if you believe you can have a healthy pregnancy despite those findings. Ultimately you need to do what you feel comfortable with.

Re: overwhelmed - so many questions (long)
I can only share what my experience is, but I think our test results are different, so I'm on this medicine for different reasons, but I think as others have said you have to get all the information you need to make you comfortable with it.
I was put on Metformin when I was 21 because of PCOS - I'm still on it at 13 weeks (a bit of a less dose, I was previously on 2000mg, and now on 1000mg a day).
Through my RE, I was also put on progesterone suppoitories as a precaution as well as Lovenox because they found a deficiency that could lead to blood clotting.
I was definately overwhelmed with taking everything but knew that it's what was necessary and what still is to keep things going. I got taken off the suppositories 2 weeks ago, so that helps a lot.
If you have any questions about the three, feel free to reach out. With the Lovenox, I also take 1000mg of Calcium a day, on top of the Pre-natals and extra folic acid.

Re: overwhelmed - so many questions (long)
Thanks everyone. I have had a little more time to process all of this and I think I am going to follow his recommended protocol so I have no regrets.
