WTF? (meds related)

So with RSoNY, my meds were easily ordered, they knew my insurance which is GHI and that all refills must be orders to the max bc I only get three cycles of meds. Meds came fast and all was good.
With my new RE, meds were not ordered properly and I had to follow up after a week of not getting the meds only to find out they were not ordered through the correct pharmacy. When I told them this, they said I had to figure it out. I did and told her (and I did explain this at my meds consult) that it had to be put through freedom and max refills and she said I don't have fertility meds benefit but she will re-fax it.. I call freedom and it was never faxed initially there. Okay fine, it's now faxed properly but my name was incorrect so nothing was able to be processed. Thank God I called freedom again and fixed everything.
I get my meds today finally and guess what... No max refills. I have two 900 pens of gonal! Umm I went through like 5 of those pens last cycle. So am I out now with getting the full refills or did she screw me again? Anyway to get the rest? I am starting to not like this nurse at all.

OMG I would be so pissed.

I think your next visit, you should bring a typed out list of how to order your meds for future reference (hopefully you won't even need to!) And ask them to please put in on the front of your file. That's a bunch of BS. It's because she doesn't know what's she's doing. Obviously. lol

I have no idea. I'm being suppressed with BCP's, then lupron. I am a terrible responder so I'm worried I won't have enough meds now. They had me on total max stims and I still had any mature.

I'm not familiar with GHI but if you run low on Gonal i would ask the office for it since they messed up. And let DR. T know this.

Uhhh that is SOOO annoying. For Gonal I think you can order like 8 at a time. How many times have you ordered Gonal F? If this is your secnd fill you could get one more fill but tell them to put in for 8. Weird Freedom didn't tell you how many they were sending you. They always called me and said what they were sending.

I have another Refill of Menopur waiting at Freedom maybe I should just order it since its the max and I can't trust that they will order the max.

So sorry, but if you already got the meds I don't think you can do anything about the current order. For the refill order have them order the max. If you are on 450 you will go through it in 4 days so it doesn't make sense why they ordered so little. I went through like 4 pens last IVF and I wasn't even on the max.

Also are you sure you don't have refills on file with freedom? I did, they didn't send them all at once.

She said that she ordered the refills so maybe they are holding them? Weird bc my last order came all at once.

This still doesn't make sense as to why you got only 2 pens. That means the refill would only be two pens. They should have ordered you like 8 and then 2 refills. You don't have to use the refill of two. They can send in a new order for you but that will count towards your 3 fills.

I actually just went through my stims and have 300 units left in my gonal f pen if you want it. It will expire in 2.5 weeks because it's been kept at room temp. Not a lot but maybe helps you a little.
