Recommend a straw cup.
Dd is 10 months. I tried Tommy Tippee but it's even hard for me to do!

Re: Recommend a straw cup.
We started with the playtex little gripper where you can squeeze the water up to help them out. Now we use the bigger playtex ones or the munchkin ones, because the munchkin have more straws you can buy and playtex does not.

Re: Recommend a straw cup.
muchkin straw cups. You can replace the straw (amazon has them) when they split but they hold up for a really long time.
They don't leak all that much only with cold milk, I just lossen the top a bit, and if it's fsllen over for a long time.
We've been using them for 3 years.

I love the born free ones. They are hard to find now though - but they have them on amazon.

I cannotttttttttt recommend it more highly:
Zoli cup
Expensive, but its got a weighted straw so it gets all the liquid. Doesn't leak.

Re: Recommend a straw cup.
Under a year we used the Nuby straw cups and they worked ok, but I wasn't happy with it. DD didn't care either way.
At a year we switched to Contigo Kids water bottle and it works great. Got a pack of them at Costco
