disney wdw and strollers
planning to take my 4 month old with us to WDW. What is the best stroller to use? DH wants to take the carseat/snap n go but i'm not sure its the best option. We also have a 3 year old with us so it can be a hassle.
Also, does anyone know if the park still sells umbrella strollers?

Re: disney wdw and strollers
I would not bring the snap and go. Your child will ROAST in the carseat. I would bring a stroller with full recline so napping isn't an issue. You don't have a double stroller? Many companies in Orlando rent various types of strollers. I would look into those. I would not buy an umbrella stroller from WDW. They are like $60 I think, the handles are short, no recline, and overall just uncomfortable.

I would look into renting a double. I forget which companies rent them but I'm sure someone will chime in.

With a 4 month old, and a 3 year old, you will definitely want a double stroller - and not the ones Disney rents at the park. I've always brought my one hand fold with me, but I know other posters here have had success with Magic Strollers. Just click on some of the related posts at the bottom and you'll get lots of names to shop around and compare.

Bring your snap n go for the plane and then rent a double stroller down there. We rented a city mini double from kingdom strollers. It was so easy- it was waiting at the hotel when we got there.

For us also (single), however, Disney has changed their policy, and the renter must be present and stroller drop off and pick up. So that makes things a little less convenient if you are arriving late or departing early, but still better than renting on site.

Re: disney wdw and strollers
we rented a double for 2 days for 2 parks. It cost $50 for both days total. There were plenty of stollers available if you get there early.

I am renting from an outside company for August - and nobody said anything about this. They said they can drop off and pick up without me there. I think this only applies to companies that are not "approved" by Disney

This is only true if you do not used a preferred company. Kingdom strollers is one that will leave it will bell services. I think magic stroller might be. We used baby wheels in the past but they are not a preferred vendor.

We used Orlando strollers a couple weeks ago and it was there at our Disney Resort when we got off the Magical Express. Worked out great

Ahh! We used Baby Wheels last year without issue, then a couple of weeks ago when I checked, they had that disclosure so I assumed it was all of them.
We decided to wing it without a stroller, and my DD walked the entire time. Didn't complain once, I was shocked!

Apple Stroller - $7 a day. I would go with the double stroller as well. It is preferred, too :)

Make sure you do your research on them first. They are a cheap price but there have been many complaints and some talk of them possibly posting fake reviews (people going on sites and posting their first post as a review but never coming back). They had some issues with taking reservations but canceling them last minute leaving people to scramble. Not saying don't use them. But read up before you jump on the good deal.
