met with new OB: Dr. Pilliteri
So I met Dr. Pilliteri and I really like him. As most of you know, I am seeing Dr. Kofinas because of a high risk twin pregnancy. I am 24 weeks and our little man is still so small. He is only in the 16th percentile. I am getting so worried that he will not grow enough to be delivered safely. We are doing everything we can with Kofinas' help, but I wish there were more! This is so stressful and I am so scared.

You have 2 amazing doctors and I know they will make sure to do what is best for you and the babies!!!
24 weeks is a big milestone - it means you reached viability. Every week they stay in there, your chances of having 2 healthy babies jumps. Did they say how big he is? Did they say when they would have you deliver?
I'm so sorry you are going through this!!

16% is fine I'm sure. There have to be babies at the 1% and 99% that are all normal :). My DS was 20 or 25% @ our anatomy scan at 21 weeks (which was our only scan) and he was born at 7# 12 oz at 41 weeks :)

Thank you everyone. He is just growing so slowly and his placenta is so much smaller. Last week he weighed about 15 oz and his sister was 1 lb. 4oz. I am just so scared

Dr Pillitteri is wonderful he will take good care if you! Have you ever met Dr. El Kady or Dr.WU? I went to them after I left Kofinas and boy was I happy that I did. Wishing you the best!
