pregnancy testing
Hi all...just a question for you preg mommies....when testing to find out if you were preg did any of you get a neg test result when you had a missed period and didnt get a pos until you saw the doc? Even if you were 3/4 days late?

I had my bfp about a week before af was due..but in the past my period had occasionally been late-the tests always showed up negative and af would eventually show

Generally speaking the test are so sensitive nowadays that even before a missed period you will get a + but certainly after a missed period you would. I suppose it could happen esp with a wondfo or something but w a clear blue easy its doubtful

I got a light positive at 11 dpo and the line was MUCH darker the day I was due for my period.

I got a super light (had to really look at the test) result a few days before missed period and then around the time period was due it was super dark.

Happened to me, but I o'ed later than I thought, AND, it ended up being a chemical, which also clued me in to that it might have been some faulty implantation.

From my experience if you are late and the home tests are negative then you are just late and not PG.
Not to say its impossible but more just not likely.

First time around my test came up positive a few days early....this time around though I took 1st test about 4 days after mp and nothing...waited another 2-3 days to try again...negative again in the AM...went back in a few hours later and sure enough there was a slight plus sign! I thought that's bizarre...so I went to the store and got the smiley face ones and sure enough I was in fact preggers!!!

this happened to me didn't show until a week after af was due.
