I'm having a gender reveal this Sunday and want to make a clist of old wives tales to help ppl to guess.. What are some old wives tales you know to determine the gender? If you did this were they correct or was it the opposite sex?

I had someone do the ring thing over my belly, and it said boy.

I was all belly, carrying to the front.

My skin got better during pregnancy.

My face stayed the same.

Im having a girl and in the beginning the heart rate was really fast..like in the 170's and that indicates girl. Also, I used the Chinese prediction calendar which said girl. I had horrible skin the first trimester and they say girls take away your beauty lol. Also was craving sweets. Hope that helps.

my dr. doesn't note the heart rate just checks it and tells me but I don't believe they write it down.

Old wives tale- "girls steal your beauty" This is actually true in my family. My mom, me, and several cousins totally change in our face when we were pregnant with girls. My nose seriously spread across my entire face... Plus I gained a lot more weight. With my DS I only looked pregnant from the front...carried like a football and my face didn't change at all.

I also did that thing where you pee in a cup and it's supposed to turn one color for boy and one for girl.
It turned boy for me.

Here's the ones I heard - we just found out we're having a - so some were correct I guess lol

The sonogram lady today told me that heartbeat rate doesn't matter as much as activity of it when deciding what sex it is. In case that helps!

the ginzos of my family (Italian) say that if you want something to eat, and don't get it DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE, in fear of a birthmark. So silly IMO.

Having my third boy
Had horrible MS with all three which they say you get when having a girl.
First DS skin got clear- Boy
Second DS skin was a mess-girl
Third DS- skin has been clear-boy

Chinese calender
Ds#1 said boy
DS#2 said girl
DS#3 said girl

Carried all belly all three times-boy
Carry wide and in hips and butt-girl

Heart rate in -140s with first but higher with my other two-girl

Face got wide and bloated looking with DS #1 which they say is a girl. My husband likes to tell me I had moon face.
With second my face stayed the same.
Two early with this one yet

Boobs get bigger-girl

Crave sweets-girl
I crave sweets all the time with all three
