How to transition baby from bottle to cup?
DD is on whole milk now and 14 months old. Every time we try giving it to her in a cup she doesn't really like it and won't drink much.
Meanwhile, she drinks a ton of water in her cup and guzzles her milk if its in a bottle
We tried a couple different cups already, are there any in particular that we should try. I really want to get her off the bottle soon

I just do it right at 12 months when I switch to milk. It takes them a few days to "get" it and drink a good amount but in the mean time I make sure they drink water eat cheese and yogurt. My ped says its perfectly fine if they don't drink alot at first.

How to transition baby from bottle to cup?
Dd has her water in a straw cup but won't drink her milk from it. I ended up putting her milk in a nuk active cup and she will have it from that.

I just went cold turkey with my DD. I took all of her bottles away and she basically refused to drink a drop of milk from the sippy for a few days but once she realized this was it and the bottles weren't coming back, she gave in and drank fine from the sippy.
ETA - I didn't really care how much milk she was drinking at that point. She was eating three full meals a day plus snacks so the overall milk consumption wasn't a worry for me. Once she started with the sippy her milk consumption went down a lot because she mostly just drank with meals like you or I would.

How to transition baby from bottle to cup?
We went cold turkey too. As soon as we switched to milk at age 1, we also switched to cups with straws (Playtex brand).
DS wasn't a fan for a few days but when it clicked that there was no other choice, he accepted it.

I'm thinking about going cold turkey. He spits the milk of of the cups but loves his bottles still
