Montauk Babymoon
I'm currently planning my babymoon in Montauk for mid-May. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to stay in Montauk? Ideally something with a water view and very close/walking distance to town.
TIA!!!

Re: Montauk Babymoon
I'll be going in Aug. We're staying at Montauk Manor. It's pretty close to town (not sure about walking distance) but last time we stayed there they provided a shuttle to just about everywhere we want to go.

neither one of those are walking distance to town. Though I believe both have shuttles.
There are a lot of motels in town though.

Re: Montauk Babymoon
Montauk Manor is only about a mile from town and it's a lot nicer then the motels. I don't consider it walking distance but my sister and cousin both walked to town from there a bunch of times while my sister was 8 months pg and said it only took them 15 mins to walk. They consider it walking distance. So I guess it depends on the individual. I take the shuttle lol.

Re: Montauk Babymoon
montauk yacht club and montauk manor are not within walking distance of town.
The manor does provide a shuttle though and have an indoor pool.
Check out Stone Lion at next to East by Northesst restaurant. Newly renovated and very nice. On the pond and only 5 blocks to town.
Also Atlantic Terrace is in walking distance to town.

Trust me that is not a pleasant walk. On a main road with little or no sidewalk. Even when I was 17 and dumb I wouldn't walk it

any walk that takes me over 10 mins is not pleasant imo. That's why I said it depends on the person. My sister and cousin are far from being athletes and they both consider it walking distance. I don't think they are dumb.
