When are you stopping work?

I am 3 weeks from my date now. I was planning on working this week and next. I don't know if I can make it through another 2 weeks. I'm so torn! What is everyone else doing?

I was planning to take off the week before to spend time with DD 1.
Now I'm contemplating taking off the 2 weeks before. So torn

For DD #1, I worked up until the last week before I was induced. I was exhausted!

For this pregnancy, I'm giving myself 2 weeks before baby is due to spend time with DD and get the house in order. I'm exhausted and hate walking around at work, going to meetings and trying to concentrate when all I want to do is rest.

i am stopping one week before my due date. i want to have time with DD before the baby arrives. if it wasnt for that, i would work until the baby came.

Last time, I was planning to work until my due date. 2 weeks before I was due, I realized there was no way I'd be able to do that. I stopped one week before my due date.

I'm working until baby arrives. I only work part time with no paid leave so I want to work as long as I can. I did it last time around and was fine, and my job is very physical

Last time i stopped working 2 weeks before due date and was really bored doing nothing and so this time i am working til like 5 days before my due date. I wanted to maximize my paid time at home. I am exhausted and am starting to wish i planned it differently but i decided that the last week of work i will only work half days because my replacement will be doing my job anyway so that should help and it will give me some extra time at home with DD.

This is my first so as long as my health permits I plan on working till I deliver or at least till my due date. I'd rather use my leave once I can be home with DS.

I'm due in 4 weeks and just went on work from home leave which was mandated by my Dr. due to high blood pressure. Before he signed me off, I was planning on doing 2 days from home, 2 day at the office until 39 weeks and go out them (which is when they will prob induce me anyway).

I'm planning on working until labor - but hoping the last week or two I can work from home. Don't think it should be an issue with my job, so that's the plan for now.

I am due Monday, April 28 and will be working until Friday, April 25. I kinda luck out though because from April 12-21, we are on spring break.

I would work until I go into labor, but my job is about 40 minutes from my hospital, which makes me nervous to go any longer.

With DD1, I wanted to go as long as I could..I was on bedrest for 5 weeks so there was that..this time, I am scheduled for Saturday..think I will stop Thursday..

I feel like such a baby. Last time, I worked up until the day I gave birth. This is my last baby. I am a teacher and my C-section is scheduled for May 22 (my due date was May 27). I am definitely going out no later than May 9th - possibly May 2nd. I want some time before this baby comes to enjoy my son and husband. So either 2 or 3 weeks before!

I'm a part time nurse in a pediatrician a office. I will be stopping June 1st and my due date is august 13 but I'm prego with twins. I'm so uncomfortable already and I don't have the type of job where I can sit if need be. It sucks that I'll have to stop so early but I don't wanna push myself. Good luck to you :)

I am also pregnant with twins, and I have a physical disability. I am trying to hold out until May 1st, but it's been a rough couple of days. I see my dr tomorrow.

I always take at least 2 weeks off before. I need the down time and time to get everything ready for baby. Of course it's up to you and what you can handle.

I gave birth to DD 2 on a Monday, my last day was the Thursday before. I wanted to save all of my days for when she was born. I'm a teacher so there was no work from home option.

I'm working from home since I went on bedrest at 24 weeks. I'm pregnant with twins and hoping to work as long as I can. I'd like to save my time for when they come

With DS I went back (work in a school was due Oct 6th) with intentions of going until my DD but left @ a week early, I kept thinking I was going to go into labor and had false alarms....this time I am sue Sept 14 and am going to go back and hopefully work until DD--I guess we will see how that plans works out...

I love reading these boards to get other people's POVs. I'm a manager at a store so I'm so torn as what to do. I'd love to work until the last minute and save my time for when the baby is here but I'm so afraid of being the only manager in the building when I go I to labor and couldn't leave. I just found out I was pregnant last week and I'm already panicking about these things. I asked somebody else who's worked for the company 19 years and he said no manager has ever been pregnant in the company so I don't know what's going to happen. I'm so nervous about telling the owners/district manager.

I plan for my last day to be August 1st (fri) and am having a scheduled C-section on April 13- so I will have a week and and 2 days off (not including weekends).... It will give me time to relax and spend time with my older 2 before the baby comes.
