Anyone have a c-section at Katz Womens Hospital?
I was wondering if they use staples or tape and if they gave you a support band or not. I wanted to know if I should go buy one or if they offer you one. Thank you.

i personally didnt have a csection, but i went to visit a friend who did (this was last year). if you have a nice nurse and ask for a support band they will give you one

I didnt have a csection but they gave me the band anyway.

I just came home yesterday from north shore lij and had a section
My doc gave me dissolvable stitches and no band was offered- honestly not sure I would be comfortable in one just yet
I want to add, the staff and nurses were amazing

Your OB actually writes you a script for the support band and that's how you get it. Has nothing to do with what hospital you deliver at. Most people just don't know that b/c their drs write the script and it goes directly to the nurses so you never see it.
Anyway, you should be getting a support band after the surgery.

I had a c section there July 2013. I had derma bond which is basically glue and then I guess stitches on the inside that dissolved. I did get a support band.
