Vaginal Bleeding (sorry TMI)?
Anyone know what this could be from - I've had blood in my urine for the past week. My menstrual cycle has been over since last Sunday, so it's not that. I don't usually spot in between. It's heavy enough to make the toilet water dark pink when I use the bathroom and the toilet paper has obvious blood on it when I wipe. Sometimes it's very light, other times heavy enough that it shows up as a purplish color when I wipe. No pain involved at all. I'm also nauseauos (sp?) almost every day since this started.
I don't think I'm pregnant since this started right after my period, but I'm taking a test today just in case. I also have a family history of kidney stones.
Any ideas of what this could be?? It's starting to worry me.

I had blood in my urine with a UTI once. No other symptoms.....just the blood.

Could totally be a kidney stone but usually you have excruciating pain with a stone so there is no mistaking it.
Could also be a UTI.

I'm thinking UTI, if it's a bad enough infection to be causing you to bleed visibly, it's strong enough to make you nauseous.

It's probably a UTI. This is the only symptom I get when I have them. Get to the dr for medicine ASAP, they are nothing to mess with. Feel better!

I pass several kidney stones a year. The pain usually happens when the stone is stuck, but I just have blood with no major discomfort, so it could be a stone

Can you tell if it is coming from the V or urinary tract? If so then you can try and rule out issues. UTI if is is from urinary tract or if it is from V then I would call GYN as polyps can cause mid cycle bleeding

Yes- this is key. I have had both. . .
When it was in urine only, it turned out I had a kidney cyst which they believed was causing small kidney stones & that was what the bleeding was from. I didn't have any pain from the stones. Most likely it is an infection though--that's what they tested me for first.
