Bring Boppy to the Hospital?

I am planning on breastfeeding. Should I bring the boppy to the hospital?

Thanks!

Re: Bring Boppy to the Hospital?

I didn't breastfeed, but I did have a c-section and I was glad to have the boppy. Took some of the pressure of the baby off the incision.

Bring Boppy to the Hospital?

I know the NICU had some we could use, but I'd bring my own!

Re: Bring Boppy to the Hospital?

Def bring it.

I didn't breast feed, had 2 c-sections. Didn't bring it the 1st time, but brought it the 2nd time.

So much more comfortable to hold the baby while in bed or sitting in the chair.

I planned on bfeeding so brought it but didn't use it....I didn't find it comfortable to use at all though in general it was awkward for me, so maybe it's just me!

Absolulely. Even if you're not breastfeeding, it helps when holding the baby in general. Our parents and siblings used it too!

I brought it and was glad I did. I LOVED my Boppy and used it until DD was over a year old. I just always found it more comfortable to BF with it.

I never used it for nursing and really only occasionally used it to prop up DD. If anything, I would say leave it in the car and have DH grab it if you want it.
