prenatal depression
I have no recommendations, I just wanted to say I'm so sorry you are going through this. My mother had severe nausea and vomiting the entirety of both of her pregnancies, just about up to the day she gave birth. The good news is it went away right after she gave birth!

Re: prenatal depression
I am so sorry. Having been super sick with my pregnancy for my son I understand. I was vomiting 10 times a day or more every day until I completed 7 full months of pregnancy. Zoffan made it worse for me.
I don't have a recommendation for a therapist, but I would reach out to your obgyn for a recommendation so they can coordinate your care. As for me, what worked a little bit was that I just drank fruit smoothies (crushed ice and fresh fruit). As yucky as it is to say at least it did not hurt if I had to be sick. For me pineapple, mango, or strawberry were my preferred flavors. The other things that worked were ginger flavored cookies, eating lemons, and wearing seabands constantly. It is draining, but keep in mind that it is temporary and you can do it!

Re: prenatal depression
Where do you live? My dr gave me 2 recommendations since I had PPD with my last pregnancy but I don't know if they'll be convenient for you.

Re: prenatal depression
I can relate completely. I was there just a few weeks ago. On both meds, still sick, unable to enjoy anything. After some. research And talking with my OB I found that depression is a side effect of diclegis. I stopped taking it and stayed on the zofran only. I still felt sick at times, but mentally I felt much better. I went from crying everyday and hating being pregnant to feeling almost normal again.
I don't have a therapist recommendation for you, but I wanted to let you know you're not alone in feeling that way and being that sick. I know how hard it is. Please reach out if you need someone to relate to. Hope you feel better soon.
