Nothing she mentioned. So many of my local friends have same pattern or reverse. And a bunch have boy girl boy too. It is all over the map!!

I have 3 boys
My friend with 3 kids
A few others I know have had a different gender for the 3rd and I know plenty that have 3 of the same gender

DH is the oldest, he has a brother and then a sister. No MCs between his brother and sister. So, there's one.
My first cousins are but I'm not sure if there were any MCs in between.

I agree!!
It's 50/50 chance every pregnancy. I know several people off of the top of my head that this wasn't true:

Chances of the same gender do increase with each successive child of that same gender, but 90% is a bit extreme. I just had my 3rd baby on Sunday. First 2 are boys and we just had a girl. No mc or abortion in between.

I have 3. First was a boy, 2 m/c between him and boy #2, and then #3 was another boy. I remember my OB/gyn saying something like what your MIL said
